Swee Kee Chicken Rice Shop was opened in 1949 in Middle Road by Mr MOH Lee Twee.

Mr MOH died in 1977 at the age of 63, and passed the business onto his four sons. Only one, Mr Fred MOH, was keen on the business. Mr Fred MOH is now 44 years old (2001).
