Minister for Home Affairs for each of the last ten years |

(a) how many convictions were there for
offences under section 143 of the Penal Code; and |
|
(b) of these, how many were sentenced to
imprisonment and how many were sentenced to 5 or more months of
imprisonment. |

and those who were sentenced to 5 months imprisonment or more under
Section 143 (Punishment for unlawful assembly) of the Penal Code, for
the last 10 years (1997 to 2006), is provided in the table below. |
