Release of 2005 GCE O-Level Examination
Results |
|
The results of the 2005 Singapore-Cambridge
General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level Examination will be
released on Friday, 10 February 2006. |
|
School candidates may collect their results from
their schools at 2.30pm on 10 February 2006. |
|
Private candidates will be informed of their
results by post. Private candidates may also access their results
through the Internet after 2.30pm on 10 February 2006, at the following
website: http://www.seab.gov.sg . |
|
Students with ¡®O¡¯ level results will now
have an additional option to apply for admission to the polytechnics
under the Joint-Polytechnic Special Admissions Exercise (JPSAE). |
|
The JPSAE allows applicants to be
assessed on broader criteria of merit, beyond the ¡®O¡¯ level results.
Applicants can submit applications under both the Joint Admissions
Exercise and the new JPSAE. |

Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) |
|
The Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) is
conducted annually by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to allow those
who had sat for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE ¡®O¡¯ Level examinations
to apply for admission to courses offered by junior colleges (JC),
Millennia Institute (MI), polytechnics and the Institute of
Technical Education (ITE). |

MOE has improved the 2006 JAE Internet
System, taking into account the lessons learnt from previous
exercises, to ensure that the application process will be smoother
than previous years¡¯ exercises. |
