A new bus service (proposed Service 402) will be introduced to serve the Marina South Pier. SBS Transit will release detailed information nearer the date of the opening1.
Clifford Pier was built in 1931 by the Public Works Department. Frank Dorrington Ward was then Chief Architect of the PWD. He and his assistants produced a neat and simple design with an interesting roof structure consisting of concrete arched trusses in a pleasing riband form2.
