understanding of the history, culture and the arts education systems of
the two countries

system and processes as well as curriculum changes for the betterment of
NAFA courses

joint-teaching and assessments, joint-exhibitions, research
collaboration, conferences, continuous professional practice and staff
development that contributed to the transfer of knowledge and skills for
mutual benefit

to the creation of a diverse international profile of students admitted
into joint-programmes, including the recent admission of the first MA
student from UK under the Isle of Man Government grants award to pursue
a full-time research in ¡°Comparing Western Contemporary Arts to Oriental
Contemporary Arts¡± at NAFA
¡¤ Promote
recognition of product values and designs that have led to a further
3-tier collaborative engagement (Singapore/UK/Netherlands) in 2005 with
Philip Design and the proposed development of ¡°Research Lab¡± at NAFA
¡¤ Expose
NAFA music students to the more established music and theatre practice
and learning systems in
Britain through the BA (Hons) in Music conducted at NAFA and validated
by University of Wales in 2001, and the new BA (Hons) in Theatre Arts
offered in Oct 2005
¡¤ Strengthen
NAFA¡¯s training programme in theatre and stage management through the
introduction of the franchised degree programme in BA (Hons) Arts
Management in Jul 2005, conferred by
University of Huddersfield
¡¤ Enhance
the image and reputation of NAFA¡¯s fashion design/fashion merchandising
degree programmes delivered in collaboration with
University of Huddersfield |
