| Advance Application for
CPF Withdrawal: Allowed members to withdraw their CPF savings on
their 55th birthday or soon after. |
| 1991 |
| Customer Service
Officers: Specially-trained officers man the service counters at
all CPF offices. |
| 1994 |
| One-Stop Service Centre:
Service counters on different floors in CPF Building were
relocated to the 2nd storey to provide customers with a one-stop
service. |

| Customer Service
Department: A department specialising in customer service was set
up. This underlined the importance placed on frontline services. |

| CPF PhoneLine: Customers
could have most of their enquiries answered by calling one
number. |

| Extended Hours at
Tampines Office: The office stayed opened until 7pm on Wednesdays
to cater to customers who could not visit during normal working
hours. |

| 6-Day Service from
Mondays to Saturdays: For customer convenience. Implemented on a
pilot basis at the CPF Main Office at end 1999 and extended to all
branch offices in March 2000. |

| CPF PAL-Phone: Members
could check their CPF accounts over the phone with a PIN. |
| 1991 |
| CPF PAL-Automated
Information Machine (AIM): ATM-like terminals for members to check
their CPF accounts and obtain CPF statements. |
| 1994 |
| PAL-Phone Goes
Multilingual: Members could now transact and hear information in
the other three languages - Chinese, Malay and Tamil. |
| 1996 |
| CPF PAL-Machine: More
services and information for members with these multimedia
machines which replaced the CPF PAL-AIM. |
| 1997 |
| CPF PAL-Internet: CPF
services and information are made accessible anywhere in the world
via the Internet. |

| Half-Yearly Statement of
Account on Internet: From 21 Jul 2000, members are able to view
their half-yearly statement on PAL-Internet. |
