The Sports Museum, located at the West Entrance of the National Stadium, was established in 1983.

Its three main objectives are: to serve as a repository for sports objects of historical, aesthetic and scientific importance; to inform, educate and entertain the public of Singapore's sporting heritage; and to honour our local sports heroes and heroines.
